🥑 Recipe: Sunny-Side Keto Burger with Avocado

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85–90% lean)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 avocado, sliced

  • 4 slices tomato

  • 4 butter lettuce leaves (for “bun”)

  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil (for frying eggs)

Instructions

  1. Form patties: In a bowl, mix ground beef, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Form into 4 patties.

  3. Grill or pan-fry patties: Cook 3–4 minutes per side (or until desired doneness). Top each patty with a slice of cheddar for the last minute so it melts.

  5. Cook eggs: In a separate skillet, melt butter or heat oil. Crack eggs and cook sunny-side up (yolk still runny).

  7. Assemble: On a lettuce leaf, place burger + melted cheese, egg, tomato slice, and avocado slice. Wrap with another lettuce leaf or eat open-faced.
